PITERSITE BRACELET
The Pietersite was discovered in Namibia (country north of South Africa) by Sid Pieters in 1963 and recorded in the manual mineralogy of England in 1964.
Pietersite is composed of the Crocidolite Asbestos-like variety of riebeckite.
The process begins with the Hawkeye, the name given to the variety of the blue tiger eye.
This aggregate is formed when the opaque quartz replaces crocidolite creating iridescent or a field with a fractured silver luster. The Pietersite is formed by the process known as "brecciation". This happens when the fibrous structure of the two, Tiger Eye and Hawk Eye is broken through the geological process on earth. These tiny fragments naturally cemented with quartz to form a finished product with multiple varieties of colors and a beautiful shimmer.
The Pietersite is extremely rare and is found only in two places.
Very good stone third chakra (energy field of the solar plexus, confidence, radiation, emotional stress, charisma).
